I’ve had a feeling of insecurity for a good portion of my two decades here on earth, concerning personal issues as well as other things that affect me directly. Truthfully, it’s not a pleasant feeling at all. I’ve felt pressured to do things perfect and pleasing to everyone, so I can have some sense of self-satisfaction. But even then, I tend to screw things up more than I do make things right, or better. Thankfully, today God showed me that my insecurities throughout the years were more SELFISH than anything else. Those insecurities were more like pride, selfishness, and FALSE HUMILITY. There I was, feeling blue and insecure about many things, thinking I was humble before God…Ha-Ha-Ha! The reality was, I was just thinking about Me, Myself, and I, instead of focusing on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In addition to that incredible lesson, He also showed me how I AM MORE than the bad choices I’ve made; how I AM MORE  than the sum of my past mistakes; how I AM MORE than the problems I’ve created. He showed me how I’ve been REMADE. And the most awesome part of this lesson was: God spoke all of this to me through two songs on a Christian radio station (K-LOVE.) Wow, that was a big eye-opener for me…thank you God.
